“No sport is a one-off, one-day deal,” Borel stressed. “Sport is an
                                                       everyday grind and for us to build capacity, we need to find the
                                                       kids that are interested in throwing and give them the support
                                                       they need so they can practice on a daily basis, give them the
                                                       equipment they need, the lifting facilities, the encouragement so
                                                       they can be strategic about success.”

                                                       Borel is optimistic that Walcott can once again reach the heights
                                                       of 2012. “It’s twelve years on and I would like to just see us pay
                                                       homage to him and his achievement by providing the support
                                                       that athletes at all levels deserve.

                                                       “We have to continue to build on what he did so it won’t be
                                                       another 30 years until someone comes out of nowhere and
                                                       achieves something. I want us to be more strategic in our




























                                                       thinking and planning and execution of how we’re going to
                                                       continue to support him in his career and how we’re going to build
